Proposed Reform

As a small-business owner for over 21 years, I have heard the same consistent political promises over and over from our legislatures regarding health care reform. Meanwhile, our healthcare costs have risen between 8 percent and 15 percent every year, with less benefits. Real reform needs to become a reality if we want small businesses to survive. Without affordable and meaningful healthcare, it will be impossible to maintain a quality workforce. In summary, we would simply like to continue to be active participants in the economy rather than adding to the growing financial burden of taxpayers, joining the unfortunate unemployed.
